Under general direction, you provide technical expertise across diverse structural engineering activities for the department and company. You may act as lead designer or technical consultant, upholding engineering ethics and standards of conduct.

This is the initial hire to establish a Denver structural team. You will work with support engineers across the US and internationally to produce excellent design and documentation, and

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering; 10–15 years of experience required.
• P.E. and S.E. licenses required.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills; experience with major structural systems and materials.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope with full responsibility for interpretation and execution.
• Select problems and develop novel solutions to technical challenges.
• Perform quality checks on calculations, designs, and specs; conduct site reviews.
