Jobot seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to join its Philadelphia team, leading design and documentation for complex building projects. The role emphasizes hands-on technical involvement, mentorship, and ownership from concept through construction administration.

A licensed PE/SE is preferred, with 5+ years of experience in building structures, and the position offers a hybrid schedule after initial training, with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer or Structural Engineer (SE) preferred.
• Experience designing complex building structures for commercial or institutional projects.
• Strong knowledge of local and national building codes and structural design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering design and documentation for complex building projects.
• Develop conceptual designs and evaluate appropriate structural systems.
• Coordinate structural systems with architectural, mechanical, and other disciplines.
• Mentor and review the work of junior engineers and staff.
• Ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and technical standards.
