Job summary

Jobot, an established structural engineering firm, seeks a Project Manager SE to lead complex projects in our hybrid Los Angeles office. The role combines strong technical leadership with client-facing responsibilities and project coordination from design through delivery.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in structural engineering, an SE license, and experience managing teams. The position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package with a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of structural engineering experience with building design focus.
• SE license required.
• Experience leading projects and teams.
• Ability to manage client relationships and coordinate with architects/contractors.
• Knowledge of seismic design and California codes preferred.
• Exposure to DSA/HCAI/OSHPD projects is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and coordination across multiple projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables from concept through construction.
• Oversee and mentor teams of engineers and BIM/modeling staff.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, architects, and contractors.
• Ensure project execution meets quality and efficiency standards.
• Support construction administration activities (RFIs, submittals, field coordination).
