Job summary

STV is seeking an Engineer – Structural in the Philadelphia area. The role targets a 5–10 year experienced structural engineer ready to lead design efforts on building and infrastructure projects and grow within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

You will design structural systems for diverse portfolios, perform analyses, produce drawings and reports, and coordinate closely with architects, MEP and civil engineers while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required (Master's preferred).
• 5–10 years of structural engineering design experience.
• Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and/or timber structures.
• Proficiency with Revit and structural analysis software (RAM/ETABS/RISA or similar).

Responsibilities

• Design structural systems for new construction, renovation, and rehabilitation projects.
• Perform structural calculations, analyses, and code compliance reviews.
• Prepare construction drawings, specs, and structural reports.
• Coordinate with architects, other engineers, and project disciplines.
• Mentor entry-level engineers and designers toward leadership roles.
