Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Sr Structural Engineer to join the New Glenn program on sites across Space Coast, FL and Greater Seattle. This hands-on role focuses on design, analysis, and production support for unpressurized structural assemblies in a high-rate environment.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead material/interface decisions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust hardware and on-time delivery for a reusable launch vehicle system.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering required.
• 7+ years in structural design of launch vehicles or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. or lawful status.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of primary and secondary structures, incl. composites and metallic parts.
• Coordinate with subsystem teams on structural interfaces.
• Provide on-site manufacturing and production support; travel as needed.
• Mentor junior structural analysts and review analyses.
• Develop and improve enterprise analysis capabilities and automation.
• Maintain activity schedule, budget and technical status.
