Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Austin, TX to lead structural design efforts for new construction and renovations across industrial, manufacturing, data center, and office environments. This role involves steel and concrete analysis, detailed calculations, multidisciplinary coordination, and project execution from concept through IFC.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited Civil or Structural Engineering program.
6+ years of structural design experience in commercial/industrial/data center/oil & gas.
Active PE license in good standing in any US state.
Strong experience in concrete and steel design.
Proficiency in US codes and structural standards.
Familiarity with Revit Structural and Navisworks.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
Master's degree in Civil or Structural Eng.
Active SE license.

Responsibilities

Lead and support structural design and construction for new projects and renovations.
Perform structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures.
Develop and document structural calculations supporting design decisions.
Coordinate structural designs across Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, Plumbing, and Fire Protection.
Manage structural projects from conceptual design through IFC.
Lead 30%, 60%, and 90% design reviews with stakeholders.
Make technical assumptions and develop solutions using engineering judgment.
Ensure designs comply with US building codes and standards.
