Job summary

PRIME AE Group, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead analysis, design, and delivery of structural systems across multiple markets. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients from planning through construction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of structural engineering experience.
• PE license required; SE license preferred.
• Experience with steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber.
• Ability to lead design projects and mentor staff.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis and design for new construction, renovations, additions, and facility assessments.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and other project disciplines.
• Prepare and oversee engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Provide construction administration services, including review of submittals, RFIs, and field issues.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff; manage multiple assignments.
