Job summary

SpaceXSI in Memphis, TN is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to design mission-critical facilities for hyperscale data centers. You will lead structural analysis, coordinate with MEP and construction partners, and ensure seismic resilience, vibration control, and uptime for high-density equipment.

You will mentor junior engineers, review drawings and calculations, manage schedules and budgets, and stay current with ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC codes.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• 10+ years of professional structural engineering for building projects.
• Experience with mission-critical or hyperscale data center facilities.
• Proficiency with ETABS, RISA, STAAD and CAD/BIM tools.
• Strong knowledge of seismic design and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for large-scale data center facilities.
• Develop and review structural models, calculations, drawings, and specs.
• Coordinate with MEP, cooling, raised floors, and modular components.
• Perform seismic analysis and vibration isolation design.
• Manage schedules, budgets, submittals, RFIs, and site visits.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Ensure compliance with ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, IBC, and seismic requirements.
