Job summary

RTX is seeking a mid-level Senior Structural Engineer in Tucson, AZ to perform comprehensive structural analyses for aerospace programs. You will develop test plans, validate analytical models, and generate detailed reports to support development and production phases.

Travel to test sites is expected as part of program execution. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM, 5+ years of experience in structural analysis, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in structural analysis; advanced degree can substitute for years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural analyses to support all program phases.
• Generate test plans to validate analyses and verify hardware compliance.
• Analyze test data to validate and correlate models and generate mechanical loads.
• Lead technical peer reviews and present results to stakeholders.
