Job summary

Bluewater Hayes Inc. seeks a Structural Engineer to produce sealed drawings using cold-formed and hot-rolled steel, concrete and masonry systems for nationwide projects. You will stamp and seal drawings and collaborate with drafters, BIM technicians, and cross-functional teams.

The role requires a PE license with SE a plus, 8+ years of experience in structural engineering, and strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISI and AISC codes. Mastery of AutoCAD and Revit is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience including cold-formed steel design.
• PE license required; SE license a plus; ability to stamp and seal drawings.

Responsibilities

• Produce sealed structural drawings for buildings nationwide.
• Work with cold-formed steel, hot-rolled steel, concrete, and masonry systems.
• Produce stamped construction documents and bills of material from blueprints and contracts.
• Apply IBC, ASCE 7, AISI, AISC codes to ensure compliance.
• Develop and maintain Revit standards; drive design consistency.
• Review and coordinate drawings from drafters and BIM technicians.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and respond to RFIs and field challenges.
