Job summary

ContractStaffingRecruiters.com is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to design foundations, structures, pipe racks and elevated platforms supporting process equipment and power cable trays. You will coordinate with architectural, piping, mechanical, process and electrical disciplines and lead teams across multiple offices.

Responsibilities include directing workflow, collaborating with clients and vendors, managing scope changes, and performing field verifications and RFIs during construction.

Qualifications

• BSCE or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
• Masters degree in civil or structural engineering is a plus.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• Structural Engineer (SE) designation based on passing the NCEES 16-hour Structural exam strongly desired.
• Thorough understanding of applicable design codes and regulations.
• Experience delivering projects utilizing AutoCAD and Revit and coordinating an integrated design using coordination tools such as NavisWorks.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to travel as this position may require individuals to spend time onsite with customers.
• Must show ownership and follow-through on assigned projects.

Additional work will include design of platforms, walkways and elevated structures, buildings, and foundations.

• Experience delivering projects utilizing AutoCAD and Revit and coordinating an integrated design using coordination tools such as NavisWorks.
• Demonstrated experience working in the architectural/engineering (A/E) industry supporting projects in the specialty chemicals, heavy industrial, and manufacturing industries.
• Ability to travel as this position may require individuals to spend time onsite with customers.
• Ability/Willingness to climb to elevated platforms via plant stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Good communicator and team player.
