Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to apply structural engineering knowledge across steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems from concept through construction. The role emphasizes independent and collaborative work within an experienced team.

You will perform structural analysis, prepare drawings and reports, coordinate with design professionals, and support field activities. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience and a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of structural engineering experience, primarily involving building structures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; master’s degree preferred.
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, AISC).
• Experience with RAM, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE, and Revit for design work.
• Strong analytical and technical design skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures.
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, models, reports, and correspondence.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and other design professionals.
• Support construction administration, including reviewing shop drawings and submittals.
• Conduct field observations and assist with resolving construction-related issues.
• Attend internal and external project meetings.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members when needed.
