Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead the design of complex projects. You will develop layouts, produce calculations, and coordinate with drafting and other disciplines to ensure compliant, constructible solutions.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of civil/structural experience, a PE license preferred, and strong leadership and communication skills to guide teams through project execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of civil/structural engineering experience.
• IBC/ASCE/AISC/ACI codes knowledge.
• Experience leading engineering/design teams.
• CAD software proficiency (AutoCAD, MicroStation).
• Strong communication and coordination across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete design of complex civil/structural assignments under general supervision.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for project tasks.
• Produce preliminary designs and material take-offs for estimates.
• Prepare detail designs and calculations for construction material.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure conformance to specs.
• Lead small to large teams and coordinate across disciplines.
