Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced civil/structural engineer to perform complete design tasks on complex projects. You will develop conceptual layouts, cost studies, and detailed calculations for construction materials, while coordinating with drafting and other disciplines.

The ideal candidate has strong CAD software skills (AutoCAD, MicroStation), solid knowledge of IBC/ASCE standards, and proven leadership capability to guide project teams to meet scope and schedule.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
Structural coursework or experience is required for structural positions.
Experience with civil/structural analysis software and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

Perform complete design of complex civil/structural engineering assignments.
Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies to determine efficient solutions.
Produce detailed design calculations and sketches for materials of construction.
Lead small to large teams and coordinate civil/structural work to meet scope, schedule and budget.
