HDR is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the Building Engineering Services (BES) structural team in New England, directing design and technical reviews from concept through construction in Boston, MA. You will serve as the Structural Engineer of Record on major building projects and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• 10+ years structural engineering experience in A/E consulting.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary building or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with RAM/ETABS/SAP2000/RISA-3D/STAAD.Pro and BIM (Revit).

Responsibilities

• Lead BES structural engineering section in New England region.
• Serve as Structural Engineer of Record for building projects.
• Lead structural design from concept through construction.
• Develop structures based on codes, constructability, and lifecycle cost.
• Perform and review structural calculations and reports; integrate BIM/delivery workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Support project managers on performance against scope, schedule, and budget.
