Job summary

AME Design Group, a design partner of ARCO/Murray, seeks a Senior Structural Engineer in Downers Grove, IL. You will guide the full structural scope for design/build projects and lead development of structural systems for industrial, storage, entertainment, multi-family and more.

Ideal candidates have 5–15 years of design experience, a civil/structural engineering degree, and PE/SE licensure is preferred. Revit and Tekla Structures proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years design experience with increasing complexity projects.
• PE and/or SE licensure preferred; licensure support provided.
• Experience in design/build environments and leading teams.
• Strong proficiency with structural engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural designs for design/build projects across multiple types.
• Design and specify gravity and lateral structural systems with calculations.
• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams to deliver complete packages.
• Provide value engineering and alternative designs for cost savings.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and vendors on technical issues.
• Participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.
