Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to design and analyze structural systems for a range of projects, from concept through construction. You will collaborate with clients, contractors and architects while delivering thorough documentation and calculations.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, ABET-accredited degree, and strong project management and CAD skills. Travel may be required to sites and project offices across the region.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in design of structural systems (concrete, steel, masonry, etc.).
• Strong project management skills to oversee multiple projects.
• Proficient in load calculations and structural analysis.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D or similar CAD software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for various projects, ensuring compliance and regulations.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation communicating findings and recommendations.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, engineers, and architects.
• Prepare documents, detailed calculations and specifications for structural systems within schedule and budget.
• Work closely with current and prospective customers.
• Perform construction site visits and field observations.
• Collect field data and prepare field reports.
