Job summary

MissionHires is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the structural design for diverse projects, guide a team of engineers, and ensure high-quality drawings and reports. The role focuses on design decisions, client communication, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.

An in-office presence is required. The ideal candidate holds a PE license (SE preferred) and has 10+ years of structural experience, with proficiency in steel, concrete, masonry, and common codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Structural Engineering.
• Knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry; familiarity with IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC.
• Preferred software includes Revit, BIM, and Microsoft Office.
• Licensed as a PE; SE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design for diverse projects and mentor staff.
• Meet with clients to define scope and provide design concepts.
• Ensure timely, on-budget delivery and adherence to standards.
• Perform site visits to collect data and verify construction progress.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver quality drawings.
