Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer within the Advanced Manufacturing team, based in the United States. You’ll work on Data Center projects, performing structural analyses, modeling, and coordination with Jacobs offices locally and abroad.

The role offers growth to leadership, travel about 10–20%, and a hybrid work policy combining on-site and remote work. A PE license and strong CAD/analysis software skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer; eligible to register in additional states.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation and S3D.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge and application of Building Codes and MS Office (including Teams).
• Ability for travel to various client sites (approx. 10% to 20%).

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural engineering assignments.
• Create computer models for structures and perform member designs.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
• Liaise with other internal professionals and design departments for project delivery.
• Lead teams to deliver commitments on schedule and on budget.
