Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing team. This role is open to candidates across the United States, with hybrid work options and opportunities to collaborate on data center projects.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Civil/Structural Eng, 8+ years of experience, and a PE license, with proficiency in CAD and structural analysis tools and knowledge of applicable codes.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural Engineering required and PE license preferred.
• 8+ years professional experience in structural engineering.
• Proven knowledge of CAD software and structural analysis tools.
• Experience with codes (ACI/ASCE) and building standards.
• Ability to travel ~10–20% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analyses and calculations.
• Create computer models for structures and foundations.
• Develop member designs and take-offs for estimating.
• Coordinate with design teams across Jacobs offices.
• Lead project delivery to meet schedules and budgets.
