Jacobs seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing team, handling data center projects from new builds to retrofits and colocations. You’ll perform structural analysis, develop computer models, and contribute to member designs and foundations while coordinating with Jacobs offices globally.

With 8+ years of experience and PE licensure, you’ll lead analyses, mentor junior staff, and ensure code compliance across multiple states.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in additional states.
• Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Tech Report 13, and other design codes.
• Knowledge and application of Building Codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite including MS Teams for remote coordination.
• Ability for travel to various client’s sites (approx. 10% to 20% travel).

Responsabilidades

• Performing a variety of analysis.
• Creating computer models for structures.
• Performing calculations for member designs and foundations, material take-offs for estimating, preparation of miscellaneous calculations, assisting with schedules, etc.
