Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing team, focusing on data center projects, new builds, retrofits, and colocations. You will perform structural analysis, develop models, and coordinate designs with internal teams across domestic and international offices.

You will help lead project delivery, mentor junior staff, and grow technically within a collaborative, global environment while traveling as needed to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience or more.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in additional states.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation, S3D).
• Experience with structural analysis software (RISA or STAAD).
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and Building Codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite including Teams.
• Ability to travel ~10–20%.
• Master's degree and hyperscale data center experience are a plus.
• Ability to lead teams to deliver commitments on schedule and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analysis tasks and prepare calculations.
• Create computer models for structures and develop member designs.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices and client sites.
• Support project delivery with documentation and scheduling.
