Job summary

Jacobs is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer within the Advanced Manufacturing team to work on data center projects, including new builds and retrofits. You will perform structural analyses, build computer models, and coordinate with internal teams across domestic and international offices.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in additional states.
Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation, S3D).
Proficiency with structural analysis software (RISA or STAAD).
Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Tech Report 13, and related codes.
MS Office proficiency including MS Teams for remote coordination.
Travel to client sites (10–20% travel).
Master’s degree and hyperscale data center experience are desirable.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of structural analysis tasks.
Create computer models for structures.
Compute member designs and foundations, material take-offs, and assist with project schedules.
