Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Northeast Division in New England. This role focuses on civil infrastructure and involves hybrid work with leadership in structural design for water, wastewater, stormwater, and related facilities.

You will mentor engineers, perform structural analysis, and collaborate with multi-discipline teams on municipal and industrial projects across New England. A PE license in MA or comity is required within 6 months.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
Massachusetts PE license or ability to obtain by comity within 6 months of hire.
Minimum 5 years of relevant structural design experience.
Experience with building and non-building structures including foundations and walls.
Proficiency with structural analysis software and AutoCAD.
Strong knowledge of IBC and ASCE 7 codes.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Serve as in-house Structural Engineer supporting planning, design, and construction for public infrastructure.
Design buildings and non-building structures for diverse clients.
Collaborate with civil, environmental, and landscape teams on municipal and industrial projects.
Provide structural analysis and design calculations.
Mentor junior engineers and staff.
Support for construction engineering and site investigations.
