Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in New England for hybrid work arrangements. You will lead design efforts on civil infrastructure and water-related projects, mentoring staff and delivering robust structural solutions.

Qualified applicants have a 5+ year background in structural design, an active PE in MA or eligible by comity within 6 months, and proficiency with AutoCAD and analysis software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) in MA or eligible by comity within 6 months.
• 5+ years of relevant structural design experience.
• Experience designing building and non-building structures.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software and knowledge of IBC/ASCE 7.

Responsibilities

• Serve as in-house Structural Engineer for public infrastructure projects.
• Perform design of buildings and non-building structures.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
• Provide structural analysis and calculations.
• Support for building and non-building structure projects in New England.
