An established industry player is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead and support various engineering projects. This role involves serving as a technical expert, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating with project managers throughout all phases of development. Salary range is $80k to $175k, with a midpoint of $125k. New hires typically receive between the minimum and midpoint; however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity, and market considerations.

Performs advanced senior-level professional engineering duties, serving as the subject matter expert for all phases of Sound Transit projects, providing technical and strategic support, overseeing structural engineering analyses, and ensuring standards compliance.
The following are primary duties; incumbents may perform additional, position-specific duties:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, five years of structural engineering experience with heavy civil structures, preferably in transit, or an equivalent combination.
Licenses or Certifications:
Knowledge and Skills: Operations and activities of engineering programs, complex structural principles, construction methods, contract management, current trends, relevant laws and regulations, office software, effective communication, project management, and detailed analysis/reporting skills.
