About the job Senior Structural Engineer

Job Location:This position is located in Hartsville, SC.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop designs, specifications, and cost estimates for various civil / structural projects that are required to meet the manufacturing needs of the company'sfacilities located throughout US, Canada, and Mexico. Including facility and heavy industrial equipment foundation structural design.
• Manage project budget, schedule, and performing jobsite inspections to insure compliance with design is achieved.
• Direct and provide engineering guidance to staff engineers, technicians, and others as required to accomplish the above responsibilities.
• Provide project and onsite construction management to ensure the requirements of the project are achieved. ·

Required experience

• An in-depth working knowledge of current industrial facility construction practices.
• A comprehensive technical understanding of applications for structural analysis / design in steel, concrete, and wood.
• Highly skilled competencies in technical written communications, oral presentations, customer interactions, teamwork collaborations, and leadership.

Education/Licenses

• A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• PE license

• Must be physically active; work in confined spaces.
• Must be willing to work in a dirty, hot, and very humid environment (Paper Mill).
