Job summary

Amentum seeks a Supervising Discipline Engineer to lead the civil/structural discipline activities in Englewood, CO. You will manage scope, schedule, budgets, and coordinate with Project Engineering Managers and senior engineers to deliver compliant designs.

The role requires a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency with AISC, ASCE 7, IBC, and STAAD.Pro; travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer license required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
• Strong knowledge of AISC 360, ASCE 7, IBC, ACI 318.
• Ability to lead discipline engineering and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate discipline engineering with other disciplines.
• Establish schedules and budgets for projects.
• Ensure engineering documents meet codes and regulations.
• Mentor team members and manage performance.
• Lead estimating for the discipline and report progress.
