Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a Lead Superintendent to guide craft professionals on a Brownsville project. You will direct schedules, ally with engineers and foremen, and ensure tools and procedures meet project specifications and safety standards.

The role requires a strong background in construction leadership, safety practices, and coordinating subcontractors, with a focus on delivering on-time, on-budget results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in engineering or scientific discipline; extensive relevance to construction/engineering projects.
• 8–14 years of relevant experience depending on level; leadership of crafts/subcontractors considered a must.
• Knowledge of Bechtel’s Zero Accident Philosophy and safety processes.
• Experience supervising field teams and coordinating field activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of craft professionals and supervisors on a project.
• Direct craft activities, schedules, and subcontract coordination.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available and compliant with specs.
• Oversee safety, quality, and design document adherence on site.
