Hargrove Engineers + Constructors in Birmingham, AL seeks a senior Civil/Structural Engineer to supervise a team and deliver high-quality engineering work on schedule and within budget. The role involves technical leadership, calculations, specifications, and coordination across disciplines to meet client and project requirements.

The candidate should have a civil engineering degree (PE preferred), strong communication skills, and a track record in estimating, scheduling, and project control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Structural coursework is required for structural positions.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred or may be required.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and provide technical direction over a team of engineers for civil/structural deliverables.
• Review and approve civil/structural deliverables; validate professional services and construction estimates.
• Produce design calculations and sketches for materials of construction; develop construction specifications and bid packages.
