Placements24 is seeking a proficient Civil Engineer specializing in Structural Design and Analysis to join our client’s team in Paarl. You will design structural elements for buildings and infrastructure, ensuring safety, stability, and code compliance.

Requirements: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Structures), 6+ years in design/analysis, PE registration with ECSA is a strong advantage, and proficiency with SAP2000, ETABS, or SAFE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structures.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in structural design and analysis.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations and analysis for building frameworks, bridges, and other civil structures.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, construction plans, and technical specifications.
• Ensure designs meet or exceed building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate structural designs.
