Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA as a PrEng or similar.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in structural engineering design, preferably for building structures.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, Revit Structure).
• Strong understanding of material properties and behavior under various loads.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for building projects using relevant software.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and reports for client and regulatory approval.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, standards, and regulations in South Africa.
