Job summary

Power International Holding seeks a Senior Draftsman to organize, plan, and supervise the documentation of structural drawings and submittals. You will generate high-quality shop drawings from approved submittals, coordinate with architects and MEP teams, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

The role involves mentoring junior draftsmen, maintaining drawing records, and supporting CAD process improvements in a fast-paced project environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CAD software and fast drafting with accuracy.
• Ability to review drawings for standards, codes, and specs.
• Provide guidance and training to junior draftsmen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and diagrams using CAD based on sketches and specs.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate drafting with engineers, Architects and stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and training to junior draftsmen to improve productivity.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry codes and maintain consistency.
• Perform quality checks and implement corrective measures.
• Organize and maintain drawing files and documentation for easy retrieval.
• Oversee production of drawings, printing, plotting, and distribution.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Stay updated on CAD advancements and drafting techniques.
