Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in drafting or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional drafting experience required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D, SolidWorks preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical drawings.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction, engineering, fabrication, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Develop site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and technical drawings from designs.
• Interpret calculations, specifications, sketches, and project requirements to produce accurate drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, and field personnel throughout all phases.
• Revise drawings based on design changes, RFIs, field conditions, and client feedback.
• Perform field verification and site measurements when required.
• Ensure drawings comply with codes, standards, and company drafting guidelines.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and quality before issuance.
• Maintain organized project files, revisions, and document control.
• Assist with planning, permitting documentation, and material takeoffs.
• Mentor junior drafting staff as needed.

We are seeking an experienced Draftsman to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing detailed construction and engineering drawings, interpreting technical specifications, and collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers to produce accurate, high-quality plans.

This position requires someone who can work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain exceptional attention to detail while meeting project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction, engineering, fabrication, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Develop site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and technical drawings from engineering and architectural designs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional drafting experience in construction, engineering, industrial, manufacturing, civil, or architectural environments.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD required.
• Experience with Revit, Civil 3D, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar drafting software is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, and drafting standards.
• Ability to read and interpret complex architectural, structural, mechanical, and civil drawings.
• Experience creating detailed fabrication, construction, and as-built drawings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while consistently meeting deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Education & Experience

• Associate's degree or higher in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related technical field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and extensive drafting experience will be considered.
• Professional drafting certifications are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Frequent use of drafting software and computer equipment.
• Ability to review detailed technical documents and drawings.
• Occasionally travel to project sites for measurements, inspections, and coordination meetings.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when necessary.
• Primarily office-based with periodic field visits to active construction or industrial project sites.
• Fast-paced environment supporting multiple concurrent projects.
