Job summary

Metromont LLC is seeking a Senior Project Drafter to design and prepare detailed erection drawings and shop tickets for complex precast projects. You will translate contract drawings into precise CAD plans and coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers.

The role requires leadership of a drafting team, strong blueprint reading, and proficiency in CAD software. Revit experience is preferred, with a typical schedule of 8am–5pm in an office setting supporting multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Design, Architecture, or related field with CAD coursework.
• Knowledge of Revit preferred and drafting software experience.
• Minimum two years drafting experience with CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare electronic CAD erection drawings and shop tickets.
• Interface with staff to obtain equipment and material requirements.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, and material requirements from drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, GCs, and PMs on RFIs and changes.
• Revise CAD documents to reflect scope changes and comments.
