Job summary

LJB Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Structural Bridge Engineer – Project Manager to lead bridge projects in our Transportation Practice.

The role focuses on managing scope, budgets, and client relationships while coordinating with sub-consultants and internal teams to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative transportation solutions. The candidate will guide multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and help pursue new work with existing clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• At least 10 years of consulting or engineering experience.
• Experience working with DOTs.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, fees, profitability of individual projects.
• Serve as point of contact with clients as project manager.
• Assist in new sales with clients for which you manage projects.
• Coordinate internal transportation disciplines with sub-consultants and clients.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams.
