Job summary

You will collaborate on the design and analysis of steel, concrete, and other bridge types, coordinating with colleagues across offices to deliver safe, durable structures. The role combines technical leadership with mentorship of junior engineers, ensuring quality control of plans and contributing to proposals and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering; PE license a plus.
• 5–10 years of bridge/culvert design experience.
• Experience with DOT design guidelines and plan preparation (AASHTO LRFD).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on design and analysis of various bridge types and structures.
• Lead bridge projects as Bridge Task Coordinator, managing schedules and deliverables.
• Provide design and plan production support across offices.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee quality control for bridge plans.
• Develop technical memorandums, specifications, evaluations, and reports.
• Assist with proposals and other duties as assigned.
