Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a Structural emphasis.
• P.E. license and 10+ years of bridge/culvert design experience.
• DOT bridge design experience and familiarity with DOT guidelines and plan prep.
• Thorough knowledge of AASHTO LRFD and Bridge Evaluation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Design bridge projects from preliminary to final design.
• Develop specifications, cost estimates, and final bid packages.
• Coordinate with DOTs, municipalities, and client managers.
• Mentor junior engineers and support development of final design plans.
• Lead and participate in professional organizations related to transportation.
