Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer in San Francisco, CA seeks a CAD/BIM Designer to develop structural Revit models, families and contract drawings in collaboration with project managers and engineers.

The ideal candidate will lead model development, perform clash detection between disciplines, ensure standards, and mentor junior designers while supporting AutoCAD/Civil 3D workflows as needed.

Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor's degree and 6 to 10 years of experience - or an associate degree/technical certification and 6 to 10 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D would be a benefit
• Experience leading and coordinating drawing production for medium and large sized projects.

Job description

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a CAD/BIM Designer to work alongside project managers and engineers to produce structural BIM (Revit) models, families, and contract drawings for the structural discipline.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of Autodesk Revit with experience in the creation of models, families and contract drawings. The candidate will have experience leading the model and contract drawing development effort for projects, including performing interdisciplinary clash detection and the reconciliation of conflicts as well as ensuring that standards are adhered to. AutoCAD/Civil 3D proficiency would be of benefit.
