Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Structural Asset and Program Manager in Illinois to provide program-level ownership of the Tollway’s structural assets, including bridges and walls. You will coordinate inspections, asset condition, maintenance needs, and capital planning to maintain a state of good repair.

The role requires a blend of structural engineering expertise, project management, data-informed decision-making, and team leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
Illinois PE license required.
Certified Illinois Bridge Team Leader preferred.
Minimum of ten years in structural/roadway engineering, inspection, or related work.
Experience leading bridge/structural inspection, condition assessment, or capital-planning programs.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate inspection programs for bridges and other assets, ensuring schedules and deliverables.
Own program governance and prioritize maintenance, repair, and replacement needs.
Translate condition data into practical, lifecycle-based investment recommendations.
Collaborate across inspection, design, construction, maintenance, planning, and programming teams.
