Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of structural engineering projects from planning and design through construction support.
• Manage project teams to ensure scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
• Develop and maintain relationships with IDOT, Tollway, municipalities, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership for structural analysis, design, and engineering decisions.
• Review deliverables and oversee quality assurance processes.
• Mentor and develop engineers across experience levels.
• Support business development and identify growth opportunities.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and performance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across all phases of delivery.

LVI Associates is partnered with a nationally recognized engineering and consulting firm seeking a Senior Structural Manager to join its Chicago office. This leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced structural engineer who enjoys managing teams, building client relationships, and delivering impactful transportation and infrastructure projects.

Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you'll play a key role in project execution, staff development, strategic growth initiatives, and client engagement while helping deliver high-quality engineering solutions for public and private sector clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of structural engineering projects from planning and design through construction support.
• Manage project teams to ensure successful execution of scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), the Illinois Tollway, municipalities, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership for structural analysis, design, and engineering decision-making.
