Job summary

Bi-State Development seeks a Structures Inspection Program Manager to lead inspection activities for MetroLink’s structural assets. You will manage policy, scheduling, budgets, and consultants while ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.

The role requires a PE in MO/IL, strong civil/structural engineering skills, and the ability to travel frequently and work near active railways. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) in MO/IL; SE in IL may be accepted.
• Experience leading structural inspection programs and teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Director of MOW Engineering with technical/administrative tasks for structural assets.
• Maintain and update Structures Inspection policy and program schedules.
• Administer consultant contracts for inspections, design, and construction services.
• Lead field inspections of bridges, tunnels, walls, culverts, garages, and buildings.
• Provide engineering support for inspections, maintenance, and repairs of rail structures and MOW facilities.
• Prepare project reports, updates, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
