Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a senior engineer to lead our Systemwide Design Corridor Management (DCM) team in Lisle, Illinois. The role focuses on coordinating systemwide design initiatives, managing scope, budgets, and client meetings to advance Tollway projects.

The candidate will leverage 10+ years of transportation experience, PE licensure in Illinois, and strong collaboration skills to deliver design deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Illinois.
• 10+ years of experience leading transportation infrastructure projects for the Illinois Tollway and IDOT.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop programs to support Illinois Tollway assets.
• Develop and manage scope for Systemwide design projects.
• Coordinate, prepare, and issue design scoping memorandums.
• Track project budgets, schedules, and contract deliverables.
• Participate in client and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets.
• Conduct and participate in design reviews for Systemwide contracts.
• Support Tollway Project Managers and Design Section Engineers (DSEs).
