Job summary

Blue Origin LLC on Space Coast and in Greater Seattle seeks a Structural Analyst III to perform rigorous analysis of second-stage and payload structures, using hand calculations and FEM to support design, manufacturing and operations.

The role supports production, test planning, and technical reviews, with opportunities to mentor junior analysts and advise design engineers. Requires strong background in aerospace structures and communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
• Experience with hand calculations and FEM modeling.
• Knowledge of material properties and fastener/structural analysis.
• Ability to communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand calculations and FEM analysis for primary and secondary structures.
• Disposition manufacturing nonconformances and drive issues to resolution.
• Document stress analyses to support drawings and release.
• Provide guidance on repair methods for metallic and composite structures.
• Present technical content to internal and external customers.
