Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced structural analyst to support the Lunar Permanence program, developing analysis for Lunar spacecraft fluid and pressurized systems. You will perform FEM and hand calculations, generate strength reports, and drive test correlation with configuration studies.

The role requires 12+ years in aerospace structural analysis, familiarity with ANSYS or NASTRAN, and collaboration with NASA and partners to ensure safe, reliable lunar transport systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical, aerospace, civil engineering or physics.
• 12+ years of structural analysis experience in aerospace, energy or transportation.
• Ability to solve static and dynamic structural problems using physics-based analytical methods and in-house/commercial tools.
• Experience with FEM software (ANSYS Workbench, NASTRAN).

Responsibilities

• Analysis from concept to drawing release of fluid and/or pressurized systems designed for Lunar spacecraft applications.
• Closed-form and Finite Element analyses development, refinement, validation, and correlation to tests.
• Strength checks and analysis report generation.
• Test and verification plan and report generation.
• Support configuration development and trade studies.
• Process and tool development.
