Job summary

Blue Origin's Lunar Transportation team seeks a seasoned structural analyst to advance the Lunar Transportation system and ensure safe, reliable hardware from concept through release. You will perform load-path analysis, validate primary and secondary spacecraft structures, and integrate analyses with loads and dynamics to support test, verification, and trade studies.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in mechanical, aerospace or civil engineering.
• 5+ years of experience (Level 2).
• Strong foundations in structural static/dynamic fundamentals.
• Passion for spacecraft structural loads development and validation.
• Ability to solve static/dynamic problems using physics-based analytical methods.
• Experience with aircraft/spacecraft/launch vehicle or automotive in areas like external loads, vibro-acoustic, thermal loads, and FE tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze load path from concept to drawing release and hardware creation.
• Analyze primary and secondary spacecraft structures.
• Integrate structural analysis with loads and dynamic environments.
• Develop, refine, validate, and correlate Finite Element Models to tests.
• Perform strength checks and analysis report generation.
• Create test and verification plans and reports.
• Support configuration development and trade studies.
