Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a Senior Stress Analyst in Huntsville, AL to develop and validate structural models using FE methods. You will perform complex analyses, document results, and interact with design teams to ensure performance and manufacturability of aerospace structures.

You should have ABET‑accredited engineering credentials and 4–8 years of experience, plus strong writing and presentation skills for cross-functional environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 4–8 years of relevant industry experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 2–6 years with a master’s.
• Experience with commercial finite element analysis tools (FEMAP/NASTRAN, PATRAN/MSC NASTRAN, ANSYS, Abaqus, etc.).
