Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Senior Product Strategist-Operator to join the Risk team. You will define metrics, drive interventions, and align Risk, Product, and Strategy to deliver measurable improvements. The role blends rigorous analysis with hands-on execution across cross-functional teams.

The position emphasises connecting risk signals, data, and business strategy to inform decisions and protect user outcomes while enabling growth. Hybrid/remote options are available in the US.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in product strategy, business ops, data analytics, PM, or strategic roles in high-growth tech.
• Ownership of a P&L or a specific business outcome as part of a role.
• Deep curiosity about business models, signals, trends and user patterns to derive insights.
• Proven track record of driving growth through analytics and execution.
• Ability to apply AI to improve decision-making with disciplined judgment.
• Strong product sense and understanding of how software is built and scaled.
• Experience solving ambiguous, cross-functional problems with senior stakeholders.
• Fintech experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience facilitating leadership discussions that yield clear decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the signal: define/maintain metrics for Risk’s in-year performance and build a high-signal morning read.
• Lead deep-dive interventions to diagnose and unblock critical goals at risk.
• Bridge Risk, Product, Strategy: translate theses into in-year priorities and structured workstreams.
• Synthesize for leadership: prepare clear materials turning risk signals into actionable options.
• Pressure-test assumptions with Risk, Strategy, Product, and Finance; adapt plans as needed.
