Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced data analyst to drive the data strategy for risk as a product offering. You will define metrics, data products, and analytical frameworks to scale risk capabilities across platforms and connected accounts.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Risk leadership to ensure data investments align with the roadmap and you will own metrics, pipelines, and data products that underpin risk decisioning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data Analytics, Data Science, or related roles.
• Deep SQL expertise and Python proficiency.
• Experience designing experimentation frameworks for complex systems.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured analyses.
• Strong communication to executive stakeholders.
• Experience building scalable data products and dashboards.
• Ability to influence across engineering, product, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Define the metrics, data products, and analytical frameworks needed for risk as a product offering.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Risk leadership to align data investments with the product roadmap.
• Own the definition, reliability, and visibility of key risk metrics and data infrastructure.
• Develop the risk experimentation strategy and evaluate policy, merchant journey, and model changes.
• Mentor junior analysts and raise the bar for analytic standards.
