Job summary

Horizon Next is a data-driven marketing organization focused on strategy, media planning and analytics. The role involves assisting in strategic media plan development, evaluating consumer research and competitive insights, and building POVs for new media opportunities in collaboration with senior team members.

You will strengthen media strategy expertise, mentor junior staff, and contribute to client presentations while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment at Horizon Next.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years previous media planning experience.
• Understanding of advanced analytics and performance media.
• Familiarity with marketing principles, analytics and concepts.
• Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to discuss how those functions can or should be applied relative to the media planning process.
• Robust proficiency in basic functions within systems and tools related to the media planning process (i.e. media management system, billing system, competitive and targeting tools)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to confidently present and sell through ideas both internally and to clients

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of strategic media plans based on client direction.
• Analyze consumer research and competitive intelligence findings.
• Develop POVs for new media opportunities and present to clients.
• Strengthen understanding of media strategy and participate in internal training.
